When she’s not working her full time job as an aviation project manager, Megan Keno can be found cooking up new recipes in her kitchen. With her February 2025 appearance on Fox’s Next Level Chef, Megan wanted to quickly redesign and self-publish her cookbook, Cast Iron Gourmet, with her new branding and photography. All of the recipes were not only created by Megan, but also beautifully photographed by her, which made creating this cookbook so easy and fun!

With Cast Iron Gourmet, I wanted to make sure that the recipes were clear and easy to follow by using a series of grids and text and image lockups.
